SCHOOL COUNCIL
The School Council is a volunteer committee made up of our Teachers, Program Coordinator and up to 14 current parents. They assume the responsibility for the decision making involved in the day-to-day operation of the kindergarten program. Every parent is eligible to volunteer for a position on the School Council and we meet approximately six times during the school year. Everyone is welcome to attend any meeting!
Our positions are year-round during the school year and offer a variety of areas of interest. Previous experience is not required. Learn more about the specific responsibilities and estimated time commitment of each position:

If you are interested in being a part of the School Council, a form will be available on Registration Night or one can be emailed directly to you. Your assistance is greatly appreciated and not only your child, but all children attending Glamorgan Community Kindergarten, will benefit from your participation as a School Council member.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Our program operates as a nonprofit volunteer society. The Board of Directors is made up of former, present and future parents who assume the legal responsibility for the operation of the program. The Board provides continuity from year to year to ensure smooth operation and long range planning. The Board consists of a President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer, up to 6 Directors, the School Council Chairperson, and the Program Coordinator.
